The translators from Norbert Zänker & Kollegen in Berlin provide translations in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian for you. In the case of other languages we rely on our qualified freelance workers, whom we specially select according to the project and the subject areas.
We have colleagues with decades of experience in demanding language-based work in important international organisations, as well as in German firms and authorities. At the same time we also have young talent from Great Britain and the USA, who are up to speed with the “in” language of the high-tech industry and youth culture.
Sworn translators
Norbert Zänker & Kollegen have been successfully working as interpreters and translators in Berlin for some 50 years.
In addition to German, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian, we offer other languages. In doing so, we make use of qualified freelancers who we call in individually, depending on the project and business area.
Not every translator is suited to every translation. The relevant linguistic abilities and skills are taken as a given, so it is expert knowledge of the field that is the crucial factor. Our translators understand the balance sheets and business reports that they translate. In the case of legal texts, which we translate extensively for courts, lawyers, notaries, public prosecutors and federal authorities, we exclusively employ certified translators or interpreters for the appropriate language, who are formally bound by the laws regarding their obligations to maintain strict confidentiality.
Certified translations Berlin
For legal texts which we translate on a large scale for courts, lawyers, notaries, public prosecutors and federal authorities, we use sworn translators exclusively for the language in question, who have also been formally sworn to secrecy in accordance with the Obligation Act.
Most texts leave our company as so-called “certified translations”, i.e. with a certificate of accuracy and completeness issued by an authorised translator. You can find more information under Rates.
